A venue that changes what is on every week cannot wait on a developer to say so.
The Torquay Hotel calls itself the local coastal hangout, and it covers a lot of ground to earn that: a public bar, a restaurant, a new beer garden, accommodation, a bottle shop, and live music running through all of it. Residency Studios designed the site and we built it.
The harder problem was not how it looked but how it would keep up. Pages are assembled from a set of reusable blocks, so the venue builds a new page — a space, an event, a promotion — out of pieces that already exist. Gigs and weekly events are managed in-house, and accommodation books direct.
