Five rooms, five moods, and a site that has to let people choose.
The Barwon Heads Hotel has five distinct spaces — beer garden, bistro, bridge bar, cocktail lounge and public bar — and the venue's own way of putting it is choose your mood. Each had to read as a genuinely different place while still obviously belonging to the same pub on the river. Festival designed it and we built it.
Gigs, weekly events and function enquiries are all run by the venue rather than through us. Online ordering sits on its own separate site instead of being built into the main one, so a busy Friday night on the ordering system cannot take the website down with it.
